Jean Pierre enjoyed a typical hospitality career, starting with an apprenticeship as a chef, followed by a diploma in Hotel Management at the Hotelfachschule Luzern and numerous placements abroad. Assignments in Egypt, Southern Africa, India and the Balkan deepened his understanding of different cultures and nurtured his curiosity to explore foreign territories. Before coming back, he opened a hospitality-training institute in Zimbabwe, offering international accreditations and servicing the southern African region. Back in Switzerland, he held the positions of Product Manager with Swissair Airlines and Director of Products & Services with an international luxury hotel company responsible for successfully implementing the ISO standards and Business Excellence (EFQM) in all properties worldwide and supporting the openings of new properties in Southeast Asia. He complemented his skills with a federal degree in adult education (SVEB) and furthered his studies with a degree in solution oriented coaching and a CAS in Quality Management.

Jean Pierre enjoys the nearby alpine nature and loves to explore some remote regions off the beaten tracks.
